Derlit Foundation donates to Hanukkah Children’s Home.

The birth of Christ is celebrated around the globe with many charitable deeds.

Well to do individuals, groups and organizations occasionally target the needy in the society like the orphanages , street children and prisoners.

Derlit foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses primarily on supporting the needy in society during festive seasons and public holidays.

This year the leadership decided to visit the Hanukkah Children’s home at Baakoniaba in Sunyani.Speaking to Leticia Amankwah who is a cofounder and leader of delegation, she said their aim is to put smiles on the faces of the needy as much as possible. However, financial constraints and lack of sponsorship limits their efforts to reach out to the needy in society.

With the festive season in session, many families and friends will receive gifts but organizations like theirs (Derlit Foundation) can put smiles on the faces of the needy especially the orphans.

She further added that children are a gift from God to the society and they are everyone’s responsibility to contribute to their upbringing and development. If they can assist in any way possible, their doors are always opened to help them.

Miss Leticia Amankwah believes they can make use of collaborations and partnerships with other well meaning organizations.

Hanukkah Children’s Home is an orphanage home that was founded by Pastor Moses Asagabo and his wife Marietta Asagabo in 2016. They have since been assisting and developing orphans near their region from age 1-17years.

Their doors are opened to any assistance from well meaning individuals and organizations.

Kindly contact Derlit Foundation on +233547921410 to book donations or sponsor their next outreach.
